Greetings! This is an announcement for a special track on "controls and integration for building systems" at the American Control Conference (ACC-2007) next year. The ACC-2007 conference is in New York City and the organization committee is eager to invite participation in the area of integrated buildings. Attached is the call-for-papers.

All areas pertaining to control and optimization of building systems is encouraged. Additionally, there will be a special focus on the following emerging areas:

1. Building Energy and Controls Technologies,
2. Building Simulation and Optimization,
3. Threat Mitigation and Egress, and
4. Building Sensor and Control Networks

Apart from individual paper contributions, we are strongly urging invited sessions (set of 6 related papers) related to these and other topics of interest to building systems. We strongly encourage you to participate with individual publications and proposals for special sessions. This track provides for a great opportunity to build bridges between the controls theory and HVAC/building/energy/security systems communities. We look forward to your participation.
